Benefits Task Force
In addition to the Retirement Task Force, WHOI has established a Benefits Task Force to review and assess our current benefits, exclusive of retirement. This group is tasked with recommending options or alternative benefits that will meet the needs of the WHOI community and the Institution. An equally important task is to recommend a package of benefits that will lower the fringe benefit overhead rate. |

The Benefits Task Force has met three times to review our benefit programs and costs. They will continue to meet over the next couple of months and make recommendations by this summer. This will ensure time to communicate any changes that may be recommended and to receive feedback (via an employee benefits survey) from WHOI employees before the recommendations are approved and implemented.
