HTML
HTML is a programming language used to format text for viewing on
an Internet website. HTML stands for hyper-text markup language and
is defined by a set of tags that are applied to text. The tags define
how that text is viewed via a web browser. As the language has grown,
it has incorporated the ability to format images, and even handle
interactive programs and multimedia.
