TCP/IP Configuration

  1. From the desktop, click Start -> Settings -> Control Panel.
  2. Double-click Network.



  3. From the list "The following network components are installed", double-click TCP/IP.
    (If you have two or more TCP/IP components, select the one associated to your ethernet card.)



  4. Select Obtain an IP address automatically
  5. Select the Gateway tab.
  6. If there are any gateway addresses installed, remove them.
  7. Select the DNS Configuration tab and click Disable DNS.
  8. Click OK -> click OK.
  9. When prompted to restart your computer, click Yes.
