Volume and Site Licenses

Computer and Information Services offers a variety of site licenses to the WHOI community for the following platforms:

• PC
• Macintosh
• Linux
  

These licenses include several software packages, most notably:

• Mathworks MATLAB License
• Microsoft® Campus License Agreement
• Macintosh OS

Adobe Licensing

The Adobe Education License differs from the Microsoft and MATLAB licenses in that to obtain the tiered pricing for any of Adobe's products, you must purchase the software via a purchase request through the Procurement Office.

Any other software that we do not have a site license or preferred pricing for, should be ordered through the WHOI Procurement Office in order to maximize opportunities for additional savings. Some of our site licenses can be obtained at no cost through the CIS Helpdesk via the Software Reservation Request which allows you to borrow the CD media to install on your machine. We also have many of the selections available by network.
