Linux / RHEL Warning: Missing charsets in String to FontSet
conversion
Problem:
I tried to recover a file on (RHEL) just now, but when I tried to
run nwrecover, I got:
Warning: Missing charsets in String to FontSet conversion
Warning: Missing charsets in String to FontSet conversion
and it seemed to hang. I ^c'd to get out of it. The X display
in general is working fine; I'm not sure what's up w/this. Any
thoughts? I was able to restore what was needed from thor using
'nwrecover -c <client>' as a workaround.
Solution:
You could also try running the non-gui "recover -s thor.whoi.edu".
Hit questionmark in it for a list of commands (it's pretty simple
and does everything nwrecover does).
