Operating system updates
Most attacks by intruders against computers exploit weaknesses
and bugs in the operating system or common applications. One of
the best ways to protect your computer is to regularly apply updates
and fixes to your computer as they are made available by the vendor.
Fortunately most operating systems have become much easier and
faster to update and typically can be done over the Internet.
