New User Guide

Welcome to the Woods Hole Oceanographic Institution. The Computer and Information Services Department (CIS) has developed this guide to make the job of acclimating to a new computing environment just a little bit easier. We are hoping that this guide will introduce our services to you so that you may take full advantage of them.

Also, we hope that you will take this opportunity to introduce yourself to us by completing the feedback forms, so that we are aware of your computing needs. Please take advantage of the Comments section found at the bottom of every request and feedback form. At the end of this guide, there will be an opportunity for you to contact us with any questions, comments, or criticisms that you might have. Again, this is an opportunity for you to tell us what your computing needs and concerns are so that we have an opportunity to meet those needs and respond to your concerns.
