CIS Shared Equipment Area

Our Shared Equipment Area is a tiny room in the CIS Department where one or two employees or students may work at an MIT Athena Workstation or a PC. The room is furnished with a mini library with topics ranging from Windows to UNIX and whose resources may be checked out for off-site reading. This area is also utilized by CIS personnel who need to test a laptop connection using an analog line or who need to scan images onto a host PC.

Please inform the Helpdesk staff that you are using the facility if you are not a member of CIS.
