The Telecommunications group of CIS handles all telephone and
voice mail related issues. Who are they?
This group maintains a newly installed SIP based Voice over IP telecommunications
system that includes a new voice mail system and a number of useful services
available to all WHOI employees. The older legacy Nortel telephone system
is still on line supporting some phones not transitioned to the new system
including the analog lines for alarms and fax machines. For more information

- To order a new telephone and/or voice mailbox, OR
- If there is a telephone in your new office, but you don't
know whether you are in the phone directory for that number
or wish to change the number assigned to that phone, OR
- if you know that the phone in your office is still assigned
to the previous occupant,
