The CIS Department provides a multitude of services available to all WHOI employees and Joint Program Students. Our services include Email accounts, WHOInet ethernet connections, site licenses, PC/MAC/UNIX/Linux Desktop Support, networked printing, Novell network, Group and Individual Training Facilities, FTP hosting, web hosting, telecommunications and videoconferencing, Remote Access dialin service (RAS), custom-designed application programming, Network Security, and many various forums to discuss computing issues and topics.
