Genomic Core Facility: Submittal Procedures


To submit samples to the core facilty for preparation and sequencing, please follow these steps:

1. Complete the WHCOHH service request
The link to this form is found under “Submit a Project”.

2. Provide sample ids and run id for each block of samples.
Download excel file, complete columns A and B, save information as tab-delimited text and send it by email to sequencer@mbl.edu

3. Bring your transformed colonies to the Core Facility
Colonies will be picked, templates prepared and sequenced, and results made available for download. Please arrange to pick up your plasmid templates if you wish to archive them.

4. You will be notified by email when you have results.
Navigate to the ftp site under “Download Data”.
