Descriptive physical oceanography: distribution and circulation paths
and intensities of water masses, particularly those originating in the
polar and subpolar zones;the potential effects of carbon dioxide-induced
atmospheric warming on oceanic circulation and water mass formation; paleoceanogrphy.
