| My research involves theoretical geophysical fluid dynamics specializing
in upper ocean circulation, frontogenesis and subduction, generation of
mesoscale and submesoscale flow by wind forcing, nonlinear Ekman dynamics,
symmetric instability, and potential vorticity generation/destruction by
atmospheric forcing.
