Research Interests

I am interested in geophysical fluid dynamics and the role of the ocean in the earth system. Specifically, I am interested in instability theory, instability radiation, the exchange between coastal and open oceans, dynamics of oceanic boundary currents and their influences on ocean general circulation, and the application of satellite data. It is always my goal to find new phenomena and build model as simple as possible to explain them.
