The W.H.O.I. Plasma Mass Spectrometry (or ICP) Facility is a laboratory for trace metal and isotope ratio measurements operated under the auspices of the W.H.O.I. Marine Chemistry and Geochemistry Department. We serve the marine and geo-chemists of the Woods Hole Oceanographic Institution and the greater academic community. The instruments (shown above) are argon plasma source magnetic sector mass spectrometers equipped with a variety of sample introduction devices.
