The high-altitude coring vessel eventually made it to Newark, NJ where she was rigged on a flatrack and loaded aboard a container ship [named INCA!] bound for Arica, Chile. Remarkably, a WHOI scientist who was preparing for an unrelated cruise in Callao, Peru happened to see the Inca with Neecho topside sail southbound through the port and snapped this picture.
