While on Siskiwit Lake on Isle Royale in Lake Superior, you can visit Ryan Island [see map]. When you land, you are on the largest Island in the largest lake on the largest Island in the greatest body of fresh water in the world! During the expedition, the crew of Nijo Minong was unable to reach Ryan. They did however discover the smallest island in Lake Superior!
