An example of EM Data (top two panels) and chirp seismic (lower two panels) from Offshore Carolina. The EM data are shown as apparent porosity for each of the 3 receivers (4m, 13m and 40m). The two data traverses cross infilled channel sequences overlying a hard limestone unit (Castle Hayne). The complex porosity structure seen in the two channels is thought to be related to leakage of freshwater from the limestone, close to the shore. Details are given in Mulligan et al., J. Hydrology, 335, 313-329, 2007.
