 | The Saito Laboratory operates a proteomics capability for our research group's microbial and bioinorganic research program as well as being involved in a number of collaborative proteomics studies with colleagues from around the world.
Our focuses include proteomic profiling to examine changes in protein expression in experimental studies, development of novel metalloprotein discovery, and development of metaproteomic methodologies compatible for autonomous and sectional sampling programs such as GEOTRACES.
Those interested in potential collaborative projects, contact Dr. Mak Saito or Dr. Matt McIllvin at the Proteomics Laboratory email address: proteomics (at) whoi.edu
Our proteomics publications are available on the Saito Laboratory publications page.
Support for our research comes from the Gordon and Betty Moore Foundation, the National Science Foundation, and the WHOI Ocean Life Institute.
