| User RequestsThank you for your interest in working at the WHOI FT-MS facility. Scheduling analysis time in the facility involves the following steps:
1. Send instrument request to facility manager:
Fill out the online scheduling form (upper right on this page) as thoroughly as possible and email the completed form to the facility manager. You can also email the facility manager directly, describing in your email your instrument and analysis needs.
2. Consultation:
Upon receipt of your email, the facility manager will contact you to discuss the details of your request. The manager will provide the dates that are available for the requested instrumentation and will help you schedule instrument time.
Cancellation Policy:
Cancellations will be accommodated as much as possible. However, the facility manager reserves the right to charge cancellations that occur on very short notice and cannot be filled by waiting users. If the instruments are not working, no users will be charged and users will be rescheduled as quickly and efficiently as possible.
