Research Interests

High-resolution Quaternary paleoclimatology and paleoceanography; mechanisms of abrupt climate change using multiple-proxy approach; specific interests include: application of radiocarbon as a geochemical tracer for ocean circulation; stable isotopes and trace element ratios in biogenic carbonates; laminated sediments in marine and lacustrine environments; organic biomarkers as proxies for terrestrial vegetation.
