Woods Hole Oceanographic Institution (WHOI) relies on hundreds of suppliers to provide the equipment, supplies, and services that our offices, ships, and laboratories need to support our education and research mission. The Procurement Office is responsible for identifying and contracting with supplier partners who provide consistently high quality products and services to our researchers. Potential suppliers can learn more about our business requirements, policies and procedures in this supplier guide and by visiting our website. It is important for potential suppliers to learn how to partner with us to meet our business goals and to fulfill our responsibilities.

The Procurement Office is also committed to fostering a diverse supplier base. Our Disadvantage Business Enterprise Program noted in our Procurement Policy statement is designed to ensure that businesses of diverse backgrounds, ownership, and location have the opportunity to become valued suppliers.
