The Institution receives requests from organizations and schools for speakers to make off-site presentations. The WHOI Information Office maintains a list of WHOI staff interested in speaking to these groups.

Woods Hole Science and Technology Education Partnership (WHSTEP)
Woods Hole Science and Technology Education Partnership (WHSTEP) maintains a registry of volunteers (ROV) for scientists who are willing to share their knowledge to help educate.

WHSTEP was established in 1989 as a partnership of schools, scientific institutions, businesses, and community resources. Its purpose is to support, promote, and expand science and technology education and science literacy in Falmouth (including Woods Hole), Mashpee, and Bourne, Massachusetts.
