Job Summary Reporting to the Assistant Facilities Director, maintains and repairs Institution vehicles. Major Duties
Desired Education/Experience for Hiring High school or vocational school plus 2 years training in vehicle maintenance and repair; 4 years in automotive and equipment maintenance and repair; and a valid Massachusetts Commercial Drivers License (CDL) (Class A) with appropriate endorsements such as the Hazardous Materials endorsement. As such, must have a certification or be able to pass a physical examination and pre-employment drug test in accordance with CFR 49, (Federal Motor Carrier Safety Regulations). Continued employment in the position requires successful completion of random drug tests and, every two years, a physical examination as required by CFR 49.
