As part of the Communications Team, operates, schedules and maintains audiovisual services for the WHOI community. Ensures end user satisfaction by responding to requests for audiovisual services in a timely and efficient manner. Assists with a variety of information display and publication tasks in Graphic Services.

recommendations for equipment purchase, system design, and facility

Provides system operation for distance learning classes.

Desired Education/Experience for Hiring
college degree or technical certification desired. Experience
with LCD projectors, overhead projectors, 35mm slide projectors,VCRs,
Camcorders, monitors and other multimedia equipment. Computer
experience a plus. Must be able to lift 50 pounds. Must
possess excellent customer service, communication, and interpersonal
skills. Some flexibility with work schedule may be necessary.
Ability and willingness to go to sea may be required.
