Many of WHOI's foreign national visitors come to the United States through WHOI's Exchange Visitor Program. Through the U.S. Department of State, WHOI has been designated as a sponsor of an Exchange Visitor Program to provide research opportunities in the various fields of instruction and research conducted by WHOI and to promote the general interest of international educational and cultural exchange. We hope that all foreign national members of our community enjoy their time and experiences at WHOI, regardless of their length of stay.
