Cindy Sellers sailed on Oceanus several times in the early 2000s, including several cruises during the 'Summer of Hurricanes' in 2005.

Cindy recalls:

"During four consecutive legs the O-boat had to deal with 8 named storms in one way or another off Bermuda. I was on board for at least 3 of those storms, on two of the legs (2 and 4).  Chief Scientist on the project was Dennis McGillicuddy but on my two legs it was Jim Ledwell."
