R/V Atlantis
Atlantis is designed as a general purpose vessel and specifically outfitted for launching and servicing the Alvin human occupied submersible.

R/V Knorr
Knorr is a large general purpose research vessel that operates globally and can accomodate a wide range of oceanographic tasks.

R/V Oceanus
Oceanus is a mid-sized research vessel designed for expeditions lasting two to four weeks. The ship spends most of its time working in the North Atlantic, with occasional trips to the Mediterranean, South Atlantic, and Caribbean.

R/V Tioga
The Tioga is a small, fast research vessel designed and outfitted for oceanographic research close to shore.
