Registration and abstract submission will be via the MBL website

Please note: a large number of people have been experiencing problems with registration for abstract submission and inclusion in the attendees list, following sucessful payment. Once you have paid, do not close your browser - you will be taken to a registration page with the appropriate fields filled in. Please choose a password at this time.

If you have already recieved confirmation of payment but did not register for the abstract book at that time, you may do so at any time by following this link. You will be prompted to create a password, and enter your contact information.

We apologize for the confusion, and for issues regarding conference services at MBL. The conference manager is out on long term medical leave.

Registration information

Deadlines

The registration site is now closed. If you wish to register, please contact conferences@mbl.edu and P450@whoi.edu. Please be aware that you will likely not be included in the printed abstract book, but may still attend and have your abstract included separately. and

The deadline for Abstract Submission to be considered for an oral presentation was August 15. Reasonable accomondations will be made for late submissions.

The deadline for poster presentations was September 7th. This is also the deadline for registration for housing.

Registration Fees

Student registration and all meals (including banquet)	$290*
Postdoctoral registration and all meals (including banquet)	$430
Full (PIs, staff, other) registration and all meals (including banquet)	$530

One day registration and meals for undergradues (please email Conference Services at the MBL directly)	$50

MBL on-site housing (follow registration link above)	(Double occupancy preferred, singles available)
Student registration, meals, and housing	$468
Postdoctoral registration, meals, and housing	$608
Full (PIs, staff, other) registration, meals, and housing	$886

Off-site housing in Woods Hole (hotels and bed & breakfasts)	$110-250/night in addition to registration. (Cottages are also available for weekly rentals)

* PLEASE NOTE: we are heavily subsidizing student registration, such that the conference fee is effectively zero. This fee covers part of the meal plan.

Due to current economic conditions, we have worked hard to keep the costs of this meeting down.

Certificate of Acceptance
If you require an official "Certificate of Acceptance" in order to get local funding from your institution please contact Liz McCarthy at the MBL. This step must be taken first as registration submittal will not be accepted without payment at time of registration.

In the event of a delay in response from the MBL, please contact the symposium organizers directly (P450@whoi.edu).

P450 Symposium Abstract and Program Book

After registering for the meeting you will be directed to booklet and abstract submission. If you are attending or submitting an abstract you MUST register for inclusion in the program book. Abstract will be limited to 300 words, not including titles and affiliations. Details are found following the registration page.

If you have paid but were not able to completed your registration for the abstract book by submitting an abstract, please return to the abstract registration page:

If someone else's information is automatically filled in, clear your browser's cookies before continuing.

If you wish to contribute more than one abstract (e.g. 2 posters), you must use a different email address for the second contribution (using the same contact information is fine, we are keying the database by email address). You must clear your cookies prior to entering the second abstract or else you will merely replace your first abstract.

Early arrival
If you require accommodations for either Saturday or Thursday night (in the MBL housing), these must be reserved and paid in advance by contacting Deb Deering at MBL. Availability of these rooms is limited and an additional fee of $46.00/day for early arrival and/or late departure will be charged prior to arrival. This fee does not include meals.

At the present time (19 August) there are still rooms available for Saturday night arrival.

Cancellations
After your payment has been received by the MBL, there will be a $50 cancellation fee for cancellations received before September 7, 2010 and $100 for those received thereafter. Withdrawal with Refund (minus $100.00 US): September 7, 2010.
