hyperbaric chamber
The hyperbaric chamber has enabled the first ever, detailed visualization of the respiratory system of diving mammals at different water pressures. The study is ongoing, but has shown great promise for major improvements to models of diving physiology and our understanding of how marine mammals manage decompression sickness.
