Student Participation

 Seminars will be held 1:30-3:30 Thursdays in Carriage House.

Students will meet alone with the visiting speaker 1:30-2:00 to discuss readings provided in advance. This meeting will be followed by the speaker's talk, which is open to all.

Credit for the seminar requires attendance at Thursday meetings and completion of a research project (with written and oral presentations of results). In the second half of the semester, seminar meetings will go to 4:00 or 4:30 to allow time for student research presentations.

Post-Generals students enrolled in the seminar will also be required to act as host for one of the visiting speakers.
