Swashzone Processes Student Fellowship

This fellowship will not be offered in 2014
A fellowship awarded to undergraduate students studying in a physical science (including geology, geophysics, physics), mathematics, or engineering with at least a tentative interest in the physical ocean sciences, who have completed their junior or senior year at colleges or universities. Each year two fellowships will be awarded for 6-month periods in the summer and fall, with a stipend of $415 per week.

MIT Undergraduate Research Opportunity Program (UROP)

The Undergraduate Research Opportunities Program (UROP) cultivates and supports research partnerships between MIT undergraduates and faculty. One of the earliest programs of its kind in the United States, MIT?s UROP invites undergraduates to participate in research as the junior colleagues of Institute faculty.
