Divers clean the outside of SeaStation 3000, an open-coean aquaculture project operated by the University of Hawaii. The 50-by-80-foot (15-by-24-meter) cone-shaped steel-and-mesh cage houses "farmed" fish. It lies two miles from Honolulu and 40 feet (12 meters) below the surface, out of the way of ships.
