Leslie Baehr is a California native smitten with science and adventure. She received a master's degree from MIT’s Graduate Program in Science Writing after gaining experience in underwater research, outdoor education, and sailboat racing. She graduated from the University of Colorado in 2009 with a double major in environmental science and anthropology.
