Eastern Consortium of Coastal Ocean Observatories (ECCOO)
From the Gulf of Maine to Southern Florida, these coastal observatories are sharing data in order to develop a more accurate, overall view of meteorological and coastal processes occurring under a variety of conditions.

Long-term Environmental Observatory - 15 meters (LEO-15)
This research observatory, located off the New Jersey coast, provides real-time oceanographic and meteorological data. Engineers from the Woods Hole Oceanographic Institution and Rutgers collaborated to develop LEO-15.

Cape Wind Meteorological data including wind, wave and temperature information is collected from Cape Wind's scientific monitoring station located on Horseshoe Shoal in Nantucket Sound.

Rutgers Satellite images of local sea surface temperature recorded by Rutgers Marine & Coastal Sciences personnel.

Gulf of Maine Ocean Observing System (GoMOOS) GoMOOS is a national pilot program designed to bring hourly oceanographic data from the Gulf of Maine to the general public.

National Data Buoy Center Buzzards Bay Station
Real-time data on wind and wave conditions is available from this buoy located at 41.40 N 71.03 W in Buzzards Bay.

National Data Buoy Center Nantucket Shoals Station
Real-time data on wind and wave conditions is available from this buoy located 54NM southeast of Nantucket.

The Waquoit Bay National Estuarine Research Reserve
Water quality data including temperature, conductivity, salinity, dissolved oxygen, pH, depth, and turbidity is recorded at this Waquoit Bay research facility. Data is also available from research reserves across the country as part of the National Estuarine Research Reserve Systemwide Monitoring Program.
Massachusetts Climate Summary
Monthly temperature and precipitation data for Massachusetts from 1895 to the present. Meteorological trends and global climate reports are available.
