Wave Details
| The wave data
are taken from the RDI Waverider ADCP located 41° 20.200' N,
70° 33.388' W at the underwater node. The surface spectra are
computed using a bin near the surface (85% pressure to stay away
from the surface) and transformed to the surface using linear wave
theory. Direction is taken from the PUV near the bottom and weighted
with the surface spectra to obtain wave direction near the surface.
The figure shows the spectral density of the velocity near the
surface in mks and wave direction .
