Near bottom current direction is calculated from an RDI ADCP located 41° 20.200' N, 70° 33.388' W at the underwater node. The direction is in oceanographic system, i.e. direction the flow is moving toward. It is taken from bin 2 of the ADCP which is 4 meters above the bed in 12 meters of water (mean depth, see Tide for true depth).
