Woods Hole Science Stroll

Come explore science on the streets of Woods Hole—a village that takes its science seriously, but still knows how to have a good time.

Science Made Public Lecture Series

Tuesdays at 3:00 p.m.
During July and August, enjoy weekly lectures from WHOI scientists, technicians, and students about what they do and why knowledge about the ocean matters. Lectures are held in the Ocean Science Exhibit Center Auditorium. Admission is free and reservations are not necessary.

Ocean Science Exhibit Center

Visitors to WHOI's Exhibit Center will learn about the Institution's ocean science research and the vessels and tools developed by WHOI engineers and scientists for use in that research.

Summer Walking Tours

Monday-Friday, 10:30 a.m. and 1:30 p.m.
In July and August, knowledgeable WHOI volunteers guide visitors on free walking tours through the WHOI dock area and other restricted village facilities. Reservations are required.

Splash Lab

Wednesdays and Thursdays • 1:00-3:00 p.m.
Hands-on activities for kids and fun for kids of all ages. No reservations necessary.

Peanut Butter Club

Fridays at noon
WHOI sponsors a free talk or video on a topical subject each Friday in Redfield Auditorium.
