My research focuses on developing and analyzing high-resolution proxy records of Quaternary and Common Era climate variability and using and evaluating models and statistical techniques for improving interpretations of past environmental change. I specialize in dendroclimatology, multiproxy paleoclimatology, and climate field reconstructions.

In Autumn 2015 I'm excited to move to the University of Arizona as an Associate Professor. Prospective students interested in dendrochronology, paleoclimatology, and earth system geography can contact me about graduate student opportunities.
