ITP91 was deployed on a 1.10 m thick ice floe in the Transpolar Drift on September 5, 2015 at 82° 44.5 N, 124° 30.0 E in collaboration with the Nansen and Amundsen Basins Observational System (NABOS) project from the Russian Research Vessel Treshnikov. On the same icefloe, an autonomous atmospheric chemistry buoy (O-Buoy) , and surface drifter were also installed. The ITP is operating on a standard sampling schedule of 2 one-way profiles between 7 and 760 m depth each day.
