ITP73 was deployed on a 1.2 m thick ice floe in the Transpolar Drift on September 15, 2013 at 84 26.345 N, 93 30.484 E in collaboration with the Nansen and Amundsen Basins Observational System (NABOS) project from the Russian Research Vessel Federov. The ITP includes a dissolved oxygen sensor and is operating on a standard sampling schedule of 2 one-way profiles between 7 and 760 m depth each day.
