Ice Tethered Profiler 12 Data Data from ITP12 deployed in September 2007 Last buoy status on 2009/10/19 140011 UTC : temperature = 8.88 °C, battery = 10.3 V Last position on 2009/10/19 140011 UTC : 63.372° N, 20.0877° W Last profile (number 321) on 2007/12/29 1224 UTC Last profile mean motor current = 61.671 mA, mean battery = 10.416 V Last profile depth: minimum = NaN, maximum = NaN m Last profile temperature: minimum = NaN, maximum = NaN °C Last profile salinity: minimum = NaN, maximum = NaN The raw GPS buoy location data are available in an ASCII file: itp12rawlocs.dat Depth averaged profiler data files (with interpolated location) are available in two formats: ITP12 was deployed on a 2.2 m thick icefloe on 14 September 2007 at 86 37.9°N, 134 37.8°E in the Transpolar Drift from the German icebreaker "Polarstern" as part of the European Union DAMOCLES Program. On the same icefloe, a US Army Cold Regions Research and Engineering Laboratory (CRREL) Ice Mass Balance Buoy (IMB) and a Naval Postgraduate School Arctic Ocean Flux Buoy (AOFB) were also installed. The ITP is operating on a rapid sampling schedule of 3 one-way profiles between 7 and 760 m depth each day.
