The Kaupulehu flow on Hualalai Volcano contained an astonishing number of xenoliths. The xenoliths are gabbroic to dunitic and are believed to represent cumulates that form on the walls of magmatic conduits. In some locations, xenoliths collected in large piles as can be seen in this photo. (Adam Soule)
