• Recover colonization experiments on Mound 12 (carbonate, wood, tubeworms, shells). Processs these at sea. • Background collections of wood, active carbonate (especially dolomite) rock and biotic (mussel, tube) substrates • Characterization of chemical regimes at colonization sites • Possible Archaea C fixation/ production experiments with 13C or 15N2 using background or colonizer fauna | |

Has not been confirmed yet if there is space. -PI request to leave 10 buckets of smaples in chems in chem van. AD gave ok for this. Winch and multi core will be loaded in CR between Jan 3-4th. | |
