Science objectives

Annual maintenance of the two North Atlantic DART buoys.

Science Activities

Recover Bottom Pressure Recorder (BPR) at each station and redeployed new BPR. At station 44402, located 135 nm SE of Fire island, NY the surafce buoy will be brought on deck, the mooring secured, buoy serviced and redeployed. At station 44401, located 790 nm NE of Bermuda, the buoy and mooring will be replaced.
