- WHOI
- Woods Hole Oceanographic Institution (WHOI) is the largest
independent American oceanographic research institution. It is dedicated
to the study of all aspects of marine science and engineering and to the
education of marine scientists and engineers.
- MBL
- The Marine Biological Laboratory was established in 1888 as
a non-profit institution devoted to research and education in basic biology.
- WHIT
- Woods Hole Information Technology (WHIT) Group combines members
and interests of the Unix Users Group, Matlab Users Group, Data-Mongers,
and Web-Spinners. Meetings are held on the 2nd and 4th Tuesdays of each
month, 12:15 - 1 p.m., in Smith Conference room.
- Yellow Pages
- The "Yellow Pages" is an internal calendar of events and happenings
on a bi-weekly basis here at WHOI.
