MacIPX Control Panel setup

Go to the Control Panel MacIPX. It should look similar to the picture below.

In the MacIPX Control Panel click on the Ethernet Icon.
It will open a Ethernet Access Configuration window.

In the Ethernet Access Configuration window select  Ethernet 802.3 and click OK.  You will return to the MacIPX Control Panel.
Close the MacIPX Control Panel.
 

Chooser:  Accessing your files on the appropriate CIS server

In the Chooser click on the Netware Icon.
You should see something similar to the picture below.

Be sure NDS is selected.  Click the Back button once and you should see a list of departments. and servers like those below.

Select the server you want to login to CIS1 or CIS2 and click the Open button.  A login window will be displayed.

Enter your name and password and click the Log In button.

Highlight USER and click on the Mount button.  You can now double click on the USER disk and drill down to your personal folder to access your files.

We suggest that you make an alias of your personal folder for quicker access in the future.
