You are cordially invited to join us for the 11th MTS Buoy Workshop sponsored by the Marine Technology Society (MTS) to present and share your buoy-related work and projects to all attendees.

The Workshop will be held at the Woods Hole Oceanographic Institution (WHOI), Woods Hole, Massachusetts, on Quissett Campus.  The meeting will take place in the Clark Building on the fifth floor; Exhibit Booths will be located in the foyer adjoining the workshop.

We will open with an Ice-Breaker on Monday night, April 18th at the Holiday Inn, our host hotel in Falmouth. The Speaker Program begins in Clark at 8 am on Tuesday, April 19th, and ends Thursday afternoon (5ish), April 21st.  A Special Session will be included during the workshop to pay tribute to Dr. Mark Grosenbaugh (deceased), a longtime employee of WHOI who was active in buoy technology and development, and to Dr. Walter Paul, our long-time Buoy Workshop Chair and leader.  Wednesday afternoon will be dedicated for site tours of our host facilities that are engaged in active buoy work.  Following the tours, the Attendee’s Gala will be held at the Landfall Restaurant in the Village starting at 6:30 pm.  Transportation will be provided back to the Holiday Inn starting at 9:30 pm.
