Name Position Responsibilities

Kathi Benjamin

 

Director of Human Resources &EEO Officer    

Responsible for the over-arching leadership, management, strategic planning and risk management of all areas within the scope of the human resources organization including all areas of compliance, systems, talent, benefits, compensation, and information handling. An important area of responsibility is the area of EEO related issues, performance matters and employee relations.

Susan Darmofalski

Senior HR Partner-HRIS Susan is responsible for maintaining the integrity of data entered in to the HRIS system. She also provides complex administrative support to HR management and staff.
Lisa Krause Temporary Senior Administrative Assistant I Lisa provides administrative support to the Human Resources Office.
Talent
 TBD Assistant Director -Human Resources Operations This individual will be responsible for the development, management, and administration of the Institution's compensation program to ensure compliance with policy and regulations.  He/she provides analytical expertise to assist with Institution projects associated with staffing, benefits, and HR informatics. Will also be an Alternate Responsible Officer for the Foreign National Exchange Visitor Program.

Taylor Mello

HR Partner-Compensation Taylor provides compensation and employment related services while guiding and assisting with internal policies, practices, and procedures as well as external regulations. She is also an Alternate Responsible Officer for the Foreign National Exchange Visitor Program.

Anita Affronti

 

 

HR Partner-Talent

Anita provides employee related services and knowledge including hiring, posting of positions, assists in employment related issues, and works with departments on their recruitment initiatives. She participates in the interview process and employment screenings, as well as promotions, appointment extensions, and status changes. She is also an Alternate Responsible Officer for the Foreign National Exchange Visitor Program.

 Shana Tyner

HR Partner-Talent

Shana provides employee related services and knowledge including hiring, posting of positions, assists in employment related issues, and works with departments on their recruitment initiatives. She participates in the interview process and employment screenings, as well as promotions, appointment extensions, and status changes. She is the Responsible Officer for the Foreign National Exchange Visitor Program.

Michael Brennan

 

Marine Personnel Coordinator Mike is responsible for all crew staffing for the Institution's research vessels and for enforcing relevant employment and Human Resources policies and procedures effecting marine personnel. He serves as liaison and major point of contact with masters, crew, Payroll and Human Resources. He is responsible for planning and preparing long-range and short-range crew schedules.
Benefits
Nicole Wright Assistant Director-Benefits Nicole is responsible for recommending, developing, and managing benefit programs, policies, and procedures.  She is also responsible for administrative oversight of the Institution's retirement plans.
Patty Mahoney HR Partner-Benefits Patty provides benefits and employment related services by providing guidance and assistance relative to internal policies, practices and procedures as well as external regulations.
Maria Martone HR Partner-Benefits Maria provides benefits and employment related services by providing guidance and assistance relative to internal policies, practices and procedures as well as external regulations.
Val Boyajian Temporary Benefits Coordinator Val provides assistance with Open Enrollment and general Benefits inquiries.
