Setting Up VPN Access

WHOI offers VPN service which allows you to access internal WHOI services (sending email, internal web pages, etc.) across other network sources. Currently, you will need the VPN client on your system if you are:

• Accessing the WHOI network from your wireless Airport Card
• Using a broadband (Cable, DSL, etc.) connection at home or on the road and need access to internal WHOI services
• Using iPass and need access to internal WHOI services

In order to use the VPN:

• You will need a WHOI Remote Access Account.

• You will also need the VPN setup sheet that you received when you requested a VPN account
